A
Roster & Draft
- A1Roster: QB, WR, WR, RB, Flex, Flex, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR.
- A2The draft is held live, in person, using a physical draft board and player stickers.
- A3Draft order is drawn from a hat at the rules meeting. Attendees present for the drawing get one mulligan on their draw; the second number drawn is final.
- A4A manager's draft slot is subject to change if the league falls below the planned team count by draft day.
B
Fuck Autodraft Bullshit
- B1Each manager gets one mulligan to use on a missed pick during the draft, which preserves their slot.
- B2A missed pick without a mulligan available is forfeit until the end of the draft, then drawn at random from the remaining stickers, the "Shitty Hat."
- B3A manager who leaves the draft early has all subsequent picks delayed to the end of the draft and drawn at random from the Shitty Hat.
- B4A no-show or late manager who misses a pick without a mulligan has that pick chosen by another manager: the first missed pick goes to draft position 1, the second to position 2, and so on, snaking back through the draft order as needed.
C
Waivers
- C1Waivers are standard. Priority persists until a team claims a player during the waiver period.
- C2Following the draft, the commissioner resets waiver priority to the reverse of the draft order, regardless of which direction the draft order snaked on the final round.
D
Keepers
- D1Each manager may keep one player from their roster as it stood at the end of the regular season.
- D2A keeper drafted that year is kept at the round it was drafted; a keeper acquired mid-season by waiver or trade is kept at its current Average Draft Position (ADP) instead.
- D3Once a player has been kept at their draft round, any subsequent keep of that player must use their current ADP.
- D4A player can be kept a maximum of two times. Re-drafting the player resets the count.
- D5Keepers may be forfeited any time before the first pick of the draft.
- D6Keepers must be declared no later than 24 hours before the draft.
- D7A manager joining the league may select one player from a departing manager's final roster, on a first-come basis. Once a player is selected from that roster, it is no longer available to other incoming managers.
- D8A manager who leaves the league and later returns does not get to keep from another vacated roster.
- D9For the purposes of this section, ADP means the half-point PPR overall Average Draft Position listed on FantasyPros.com at 8 PM the night before the draft, when the stickers physically go up on the board.
- D10A player is only keeper-eligible if that manager's entry fee for the league year has been paid before or at the rules meeting; an unpaid team's roster instead becomes available to an incoming manager (see E2, E4, G5).
E
Payment
- E1Entry is $80 per team.
- E2Returning teams must pay before the rules meeting.
- E3Accepted payment methods: PayPal, Venmo, Cash, WECU, Cashapp.
- E4A returning team that has not paid before or at the rules meeting is subject to replacement by an incoming manager, who may select one keeper from that team's roster as it stood at the end of the regular season (see D7).
F
Divisions & Playoffs
- F112 teams form 3 divisions of 4. 16 teams form 4 divisions of 4. 14 teams have no divisions and play round-robin, so every team plays every other team exactly once.
- F26 teams make the playoffs. If the league has 10 or fewer teams, only 4 teams make the playoffs.
G
Rules Meeting
- G1Held one to two weeks before the draft, every year.
- G2Each team gets one vote, regardless of how many managers share it.
- G3Every proposed rule requires an explicit yes or no from each team present. No abstentions.
- G4Remote attendance is allowed for managers with at least one year of league history, arranged on their own. It is not the commissioner's responsibility to make arrangements.
- G5This meeting is the payment deadline for returning teams.
H
Traditions
- H1The champion must visit the prior champion's residence, knock, and ask: "Where is my mother-fucking fantasy football trophy?"
- H2Luck of the Irish: 5% of each entry fee funds a side-pot awarded to the highest-scoring regular season team that misses the playoffs.
- H3The Luck of the Irish winner may choose their draft slot for the following year, if declared before the rules meeting.
