Rules & Traditions
Rules are voted on annually at a meeting held 1-2 weeks before the draft. You can thank Steve for the Trophy rule. If you end up drawing from the "Shitty Hat", Chris is probably smiling.
2025 Season
Changes This Year
- Draft Date: August 26th, 2025
- One RB slot replaced by one Flex slot
- SPECIAL THUG RULE removed
- Commish adjusts waiver priority after draft to reverse draft order
Rules Meeting
- Held 1-2 weeks before the draft
- Each team gets one vote, regardless of manager count; no abstentions
- All proposals require an explicit yes/no
- Remote attendance allowed for members with 1+ year history
- Returning teams must pay before the meeting
Divisions
- 12 teams → 3 divisions of 4
- 16 teams → 4 divisions of 4
- 14 teams → no divisions (round-robin)
League Structure
Playoffs
6 teams qualify. If the league has 10 or fewer teams, only 4 qualify.
Draft Order
Drawn from a hat at the rules meeting. Attendees get one mulligan. Second draw is final. Draft slot subject to change if the league falls below the planned team count.
Waivers
Standard. Priority persists until a player is claimed. Reset to reverse draft order after the draft.

Live Draft Rules
During the Draft
- Physical board with player stickers
- Each manager gets one mulligan; use it on a missed pick to save your slot
- Without a mulligan, a missed pick is forfeit until draft end and drawn from the "Shitty Hat"
- Early departures result in random selection from remaining stickers
No-Shows & Late Arrivals
First missed pick is chosen by draft position 1, second by position 2, and so on.
Traditions
Championship Tradition
The winner must visit the prior champion's residence and ask:
"Where is my mother-fucking fantasy football trophy?"
Luck of the Irish
5% of buy-ins fund a side-pot awarded to the highest-scoring regular season team that misses the playoffs. The winner may select their draft slot for the following year (if declared at the rules meeting).

Format
- $80 entry fee
- 12 teams → 3 divisions of 4; 16 teams → 4 divisions of 4; 14 teams → round-robin

- No-shows: picks filled in draft order (1st slot takes 1st miss, 2nd takes 2nd, etc.)
Keepers
- One keeper per team per season
- Must be on roster at end of regular season
- Declare no later than 24 hours before the draft
- Drafted players cost their original round; mid-season adds cost their ADP
- Second keep must use current ADP
- Max 2 keeps per player total
- Can be forfeited any time before the first pick of the draft
